Most of the time when we don’t do something it’s because we think we don’t yet have all the knowledge to do it. When in reality what you have is fear of doing it and it turning out badly.
This thinking and fear are engraved in our brains.
It’s an ancestral, genetic protection.
This is why we gathered in tribes and groups.
This is why you get friends and you hang around with them.
People that are similar to you…
And not sure if you hang around because you’re similar or you become similar with time…
Your group may define who you are… much more than you think.
This is science, not opinion.
Then…
Your friends may be limiting your potential.
If they talk about Netflix all the time… you’ll probably end watching a few series… no doubt, more than you should.
If they love drinking and drinking, you’ll be drinking… no doubt, more than you should.
If they are risk averse people that love chaining themselves to a public servant salary… you’ll end believing that a salary is heaven and safety, a bonus the best day of the year and a pay raise at inflation rate your fair worth.
If they talk about money, you’ll be interested.
If they invest, you’ll end learning and investing.
If they discuss about how they make money, unless you an impaired, you’ll end asking questions, learning and taking the leap.
Use this information as you wish.
